I am currently working for a Top Legal 200 Law Firm based in Peterborough. They are looking to bolster their Commercial Property offerings by adding an experienced solicitor, between 4-5 PQE. 

The Commercial Property Lawyer will be required to manage a varied case load of sales, purchase, leasehold, landlord and tenant matters dealing with acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases, landlord and tenant, property finance and property portfolio management.

The successful candidate will have extensive previous Commercial Property experience with expertise in: drafting, reviewing and amending documentation, advising clients in meetings, on the telephone and in writing, meeting and managing client expectations, legal research and contributing to department.

    The Law firm we are currently working along side is looking to add to their Duty Criminal offerings. If you are a Qualified Duty Criminal Solicitor, with at least 1 PQE, this is a great opportunity for you to join one of the regions leading Law firm, based in their Peterborough Office. 

    The successful candidate is expected to have Crime Duty accreditation while also having a great understanding of Criminal Law. It is essential that you are able to work with your own Criminal matters caseload. You will need excellent management, communication and organisational skills, proficiency in IT, and have a polite and patient manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    To act as an advocate in court on a wide variety of cases To prepare cases for Crown Court and to represent clients at police stations To act as a Duty Solicitor Drafting legal documents To work outside office hours as necessary Flexibility to travel and work from any of our offices and attend Courts at different locations Ability to work within the discipline of office targets, budgets and billing requirements To undertake appropriate continuing education to update and retain that knowledge
