The firm are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their busy Property Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor with 4-7 years PQE to take the next step in their career and work with a leading law firm who offer excellent progression opportunities.

The successful candidate will have experience in dealing with the buying and selling of commercial property, land acquisitions and option agreements, property development, landlord and tenant management, commercial leases and commercial financing.

You can look forward to joining a busy commercial property department with a firm that are currently in the process of expanding. As a result there are excellent prospects for career progression and highly competitive salaries are available.

In reward the company offers a competitive benefits package and a base salary of between £55,000- £70,000

  • Employment Lawyer (0-2 years PQE)

    Nelson Chambers are currently working with a fast-growing specialist media, technology and IP law firm.

    The firm is seeking to hire a junior employment law solicitor to join their employment group that provides employment law and HR strategy advice to a range of media and technology businesses.

    The role provides an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate junior employment law solicitor to continue to develop their experience by working on a range of employment law matters. The successful candidate will get involved in a broad mix of work, including but not limited to; supporting on transactions; advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters; advising on HR advisory and transformation projects; Employment Tribunal and High Court Litigation; M & A; and senior executive work.

    The ideal candidate will be 1-2 PQE but strong NQ solicitors will also be considered. Additional requirements include;

    - Business development ability

    Experience within the media and technology sectors is beneficial but not essential.

  • Human Rights and Asylum Immigration Solicitor

    Nelson Chambers are delighted to represent a specialist UK immigration, nationality and human rights law firm, based in Central London.

    My client is seeking a 3-5 PQE (as a guide) solicitor to join their Asylum and Human Rights team. The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience of UK immigration, human rights and public law. Furthermore, the successful candidate will have experience of the following:

    Nationality law, including complex or discretionary applications. Refugee law and UK asylum applications. Judicial review. Extradition law.

    Excellent drafting skills are also essential.

    The firm are seeking a 4-7 year PQE Private Client Solicitor to join their busy Private Wealth department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to take the next step in their career and work with a leading law firm who offer excellent progression opportunities.

    The successful candidate will have experience in running a varied caseload of domestic files including Wills, Probate, LPA’s, Trusts and Estates matters for a varied client base. Good communication skills and client care are essential with this position, STEP qualification is not a requirement however would be an advantage. An interest in business development and assisting in growth will also be an advantage.

    You’ll be managing your own caseload and providing support and supervision to others so it’s important that you are an effective communicator, can stay calm under pressure and have the ability to prioritise workloads. Excellent organisational skills are also essential.

    In reward the company offers a competitive benefits package and a base salary of between £75,000- £85,000.

    Nelson Chambers is working with a top 100 law firm based in Cambridge, they are currently seeking a Document Production Specialist to join their Real Estate team.

    Key duties:

    - Assessing, managing and prioritising own work flow- Preparing initial drafts, amending and engrossing complex, lengthy documents- Digital transcription, copy typing including documents, correspondence, emails, minutes, presentations, tenders- Reformatting into house style- Preparing document comparisons using bespoke packages- Proof reading
